Werner Law Firm Held Business Workshop on Appealing Against Procedure for State Procurement Within Prozorro


On December 21, 2016, Werner Law Firm jointly with LAV Consult held a business workshop for representatives of the global research and scientific biopharmaceutical company. Focus of the workshop was the appeal against subthreshold and above-threshold procurement within Prozorro system.

Today, a lot of entrepreneurs come across violations which take place in the tendering process, but not necessarily know how to restore their infringed rights, i.e. how and where to file a complaint, what additional protection mechanism can be used for that.

In the course of business workshop, the speakers  placed an emphasis on the powers of the appealing authority, described complaint procedure, as well as legal implications for the participants of the state procurement procedure who failed to comply with applicable Ukrainian legislation.

Werner Law Firm Became Partner of 3d All-Ukrainian Forum and Workshop Titled “Moving Towards ProZorro in Healthcare Field”

Werner Law Firm became the partner of the Forum and Workshop “Moving into ProZorro in Healthcare Field” held on November 4, 2016 in Kyiv. The forum was organized by LAV CONSULT and PROZORRO State-owned Company and intended for workers in healthcare and pharmaceutical sector.

Forum and Workshop fostered a fruitful dialogue between the customers and suppliers within ProZorro system. Forum participants received relevant information on specific features of procuring directly from representatives of ProZorro State-owned Company, the Ministry of Healthcare and the Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine.

It should be noted that apart from technical matters associated with ProZorro System, participants of the Forum discussed performance of contracts and procedure for challenging procurement results. Within the framework of AgroExpro 2016 International Exhibition, Konstantin Sulima, Managing Partner at the Werner Law Firm and Senior Associates Viktoriya Semeschenko and Anastasiia Samoylenko held the Seminar themed “Sale of Agricultural Equipment on Credit and Lease. Pros and Cons.”

In the course of purchase or sale of agricultural equipment on credit or lease, manufacturers and consumers face numerous issues relating to performance of contracts. In view of this, the speakers from the Werner Law Firm have drawn attention to the practical aspects of concluding, executing and terminating contracts. Jointly with the seminar participants, the speakers examined practical cases, providing helpful tips on how to avoid mistakes when concluding credit and lease agreements.
